The Inakustik Connect 212 Phono RCA cable is specially designed to transmit the extremely weak signals delivered by MM and MC cartridges of a turntable. The output levels of these cartridges, in the millivolt range, or even microvolt for some MC models, require a particularly meticulous connection to avoid any loss or interference. Developed within the S25 series, this cable combines a symmetrical architecture, high-purity OFC copper conductors, a foamed polyethylene dielectric, high-density shielding, as well as a separate ground wire to ensure silent, precise, and faithful reproduction. Handcrafted in Germany, it constitutes an ideal solution for fully exploiting the performance of a turntable. Specially designed for phono cartridges Unlike a standard RCA cable, the Inakustik Connect 212 Phono RCA cable is optimized for the very weak signals from MM and MC cartridges. Its architecture limits signal losses and reduces the risk of parasitic noise in order to preserve all the richness of the information engraved in the record grooves. It thus ensures a particularly neutral connection between the turntable and the phono preamplifier. Symmetrical architecture with ground wire The Inakustik Connect 212 Phono RCA cable adopts a symmetrical architecture in which the positive and negative conductors of each channel are completely separated. It is also equipped with an independent ground wire allowing the turntable to be connected directly to the phono preamplifier or the amplifier. This earth connection effectively limits the risks of hum related to ground loops and contributes to obtaining an excellent signal-to-noise ratio. OFC copper conductors The conductors of the Inakustik Connect 212 Phono RCA cable are made of high-purity OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) to limit electrical losses. They are insulated by a foamed polyethylene dielectric, whose low dielectric constant reduces the capacitive effects capable of altering phono signals. This design promotes more transparent reproduction, with natural timbres and excellent definition. High-density shielding The cable benefits from a shielding braid composed of 186 copper strands which effectively protects phono signals from electromagnetic interference generated by Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth, or neighboring power supplies. Combined with the independent ground wire, this shielding helps suppress parasitic noise and preserve all the finesse of analog recordings. Gold-plated metal connectors The Inakustik Connect 212 phono cable is equipped with all-metal connectors offering excellent mechanical robustness. The gold-plated brass contacts ensure low contact resistance and excellent protection against oxidation. Each cable is assembled by soldering and then subjected to an individual check for continuity and absence of short circuits to ensure impeccable manufacturing quality. Thanks to its dual mono symmetrical architecture, its independent ground wire, its OFC copper conductors, its foamed polyethylene dielectric, and its high-density shielding, the Inakustik Connect 212 Phono RCA cable offers the ideal conditions for transmitting the delicate signals of MM and MC cartridges. An audiophile solution designed to preserve all the musicality of vinyl.
