The KeyChron K2 HE wireless keyboard combines a compact 75% layout with magnetic switches and a customizable design. This French AZERTY version features Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Nebula switches. Its reduced size retains function keys and essential daily controls, while freeing up desk space compared to a full-size keyboard. It is suitable for a mix of writing, office tasks, and gaming, with settings adapted to different uses. The KeyChron K2 HE keyboard combines a compact 75% format with adjustable magnetic switches. Its RGB backlight and customizable features are suitable for both work and play. Special Edition with wood accents and PBT keycaps The KeyChron K2 HE magnetic keyboard features an aluminum frame paired with natural rosewood accents. It offers non-translucent dye-sublimated Cherry PBT keycaps. PBT is resistant to wear and shine caused by repeated use. The RGB backlight is north-facing. Gateron Nebula Hall Effect magnetic switches At the heart of the KeyChron K2 HE wireless magnetic keyboard are pre-lubricated Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Nebula switches. They use Hall effect sensors to detect the position of each key without relying on traditional mechanical electrical contact. Their double-rail design aims to stabilize key movement, while lubrication contributes to the typing feel. This technology allows the behavior of keys to be adjusted based on their actuation depth. The switches are hot-swappable, but only with compatible double-rail magnetic models; they cannot be replaced with standard mechanical switches. Adjustable actuation point and Rapid Trigger To adapt sensitivity for typing or gaming, the KeyChron K2 HE keyboard allows the actuation point of each key to be set between 0.2 and 3.8 mm, in 0.1 mm increments. An actuation closer to the surface can accelerate input registration, while a deeper setting requires a more pronounced press. The Rapid Trigger function activates or resets a key based on its movement rather than at a fixed point. These settings provide greater control over the keyboard's response, especially in games where repeated presses or rapid direction changes are useful. LKP, Snap Click, and Dynamic Keystrokes functions The KeyChron K2 HE wireless keyboard offers several functions designed to customize in-game inputs. Last Key Priority, or LKP, favors the most recently pressed key when two opposite directions are engaged. Snap Click prioritizes the deepest press in certain simultaneous keystroke situations. Dynamic Keystrokes, known as DKS, allow up to four actions to be assigned to a single key based on the depth of the press and release. These functions are configurable, and some are disabled by default. They can be adjusted in the Keychron Launcher web application. Analog mode and customization with QMK With the KeyChron K2 HE magnetic keyboard, analog mode transforms press depth into gradual input rather than a simple on/off signal. This variable response can be used in racing games or simulations, where the intensity of a command depends on the degree of depression. The open-source QMK firmware and the Keychron Launcher web application also allow remapping keys, creating macros, and modifying switch settings. A wired connection is required to configure the device with Launcher, which is used from a compatible browser such as Chrome, Opera, or Edge. 2.4 GHz wireless connection, Bluetooth, and USB-C The KeyChron K2 HE wireless magnetic keyboard can connect via 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, or USB-C cable. In 2.4 GHz and wired modes, the polling rate reaches 1000 Hz; in Bluetooth, it is 90 Hz. The Bluetooth connection allows pairing up to three devices, then switching between them to work on multiple pieces of equipment. A switch allows choosing between Mac and Windows systems, and the keyboard comes with extra keycaps dedicated to both environments. The support for multiple connection modes thus allows it to be used with a computer or mobile devices. The KeyChron K2 HE wireless magnetic keyboard offers three connection modes: 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB-C. It can thus be used wirelessly or with a…
